Create interest-based packages. Hyper-target emails based on previous guests' activities and interests. For example, a guest who booked a spa treatment during their last stay can receive a time-sensitive offer for spa packages a few months later. The same can be done for food and beverage, diving, family activities, and more.
Find out what the lead time is for your hotel, and from what countries and channels the guests come from. Send emails reminding them of their last stay, so that you’re on top of their choices when they are inspired to travel again.
Customized emails show that you care. For example, instead of sending business travelers with a standard pre-check in email, personalize it by adding the WiFi login, and perhaps add a discount for the weekend to motivate them to extend their stay at your hotel and relax.
Email your VIP guests with seasonal food and beverage specials that you know they would enjoy. Offer to make reservations at their favorite restaurant, or provide them with a complimentary spa treatment because you know that’s what they are interested in.
Knowing who your guests are enables you to make their experience memorable. For example, if your property attracts Taiwanese families during school holidays, send them a list of kid-friendly activities they can do, and discounted vouchers for theme parks.
